Vintage Ceramic Pottery Planter Orange and Seafoam Green Drip Glaze
Gorgeous orange and teal / seafoam green drip glaze oblong free form style planter in excellent condition. The underside is marked 603 - USA.
Measures (top) 13-1/4" long x 4-1/4" wide and stands 3-1/4" tall. The bottom base measures 7-5/16" x 1-15/16". The inside depth is 3".
About the marking........ Several pottery companies used the USA mark including McCoy, Shawnee and Cookson. While no maufacturer name is seen on this piece we have seen an identical number-USA on a piece of Cookson and we have noted that drip glaze pottery is a notable standard of McCoy. We cannot at this time attribute this piece to a particular company.
