Maynard's English Classic Series with Explanatory Notes The Snow Image by Hawthorne. Published in New York in 1898. Softcover, 88 pages, 6-1/2" x 4-3/8". The first front facing page is marked with the initials R.H.S. and 11a (see 2nd photo). The initials themselves are lovely and in the very old writing style. Some words in the book have been underlined by the previous owner(s) but still in overall amazing condition for the age.
