Beautiful vintage serving tray in the form of a basket. The metal portion is hand hammered aluminum with an attached aluminum handle . The porcelain plate is marked Farber & Shlevin Inc. Brooklyn NY and is also stamped W.

Overall 9-1/2" diameter and stands 5-1/2" tall from tabletop to top of handle. The basket features a rose design along the rippled edge and the plate has a silver gilt band with a portrayal of two ladies and a young girl in the middle. Just charming!

Beautiful service piece for small cakes or candies. Very good condition with a few signs of crazing on the back of the plate. No dents noticed in the aluminum.
