Vintage polished ridged horn open on both ends is unidentified as to the species of animal it was obtained from. Slightly curving with the ridge towards the larger end. It is an almost delicate horn in that is it not large although it is well formed.
We are assuming that it would have been intended as a funnel since it is open at both ends although we do not really know it exact intention – perhaps as simply a decoration. In any case it is lovely and would be a suitable decoration for home or office.
Measures (as laying in photos) 9” x 2-1/8” wide at the larger end and ¾” wide at the small end.
