1939 New York World's Fair Ephemera Personal Scrapbook - Attic and Barn Treasures

1939 New York World's Fair Ephemera Personal Scrapbook

$ 53.00

Between the embossed cover lies a multitude of clippings and ephemera from the 1939 New York World's Fair. A front pocket holds multiple clippings not included on the pages of the scrapbook. Found within the pages is a program outlining the opening day ceremonies, an autograph from Grace Phelan (age 22) the winner of the World's Amateur typist championship held at the fair, original color artwork of the Trylon and Perishpere graphic from the fair and many clippings and hand written notes.

The scrapbook is a lovely green with embossing and gold gilt letters. It measures 12-3/4" x 10-1/4" x 5/8" and contains 45 pages not including the cover. Most of the pages are one sided only. Page count does not include the extra clippings nor the pages in the program.

The cover and it's contents are in remarkable condition! Very slight discoloration on the cover.
