Stunning c. early 1900's Theodore Haviland Limoges France floral oval tray. The hand-painted design of pink flower sprays intertwined with delicate vine and fern still shows vibrant color after 100+ years. Very good condition!
Measures approximately 12" x 8-1/4" and is 1-1/2" table top to edge on the ends and about 1-1/4" table top to edge in the center. We believe this to be the Apple Blossom pattern.
Backstamp is Theodore Haviland Limoges France and from our research dates from 1897 - 1910. There is also an impression mark of TH with the number 10 beneath it. We are *guessing* the TH stands for Theodore Haviland with the 10 possibly meaning the year manufactured which could possibly be 1907. After an exhaustive search we have not been able to identify the pattern - nor have we found another exactly like it.
A search in our shop for Theodore Haviland will also bring up the butter pats in a matching pattern.
Please note that any other items shown in the photos other than those described above are only incidental and not a part of your purchase.
