Antique Unused Medical Label Chicken Cholera Chaser
According to the label the package this would have been affixed to would have held a "Scientific Remedy For Chicken Cholera" sold and guaranteed by Robert Blumer Laboratory Chicago, ILL. Dr. Pasteur's vaccine was formulated in 1879 and we believe that this product would have been available prior to the widespread distribution of the vaccine.
Measures 3-1/4" x 2-1/4". Est circa 1880's - 1890's and in excellent condition.
Perfect for the collector of medical oddities. Suitable for framing. We have no way of knowing if this was an actual product from the 1800's or if it was a product sold by a snake oil (quack) salesman. Either way it is definitely an unusual label!
