This is a marvelous representative of a previous era in kitchen tools! This Lee's honing rod/sharpening steel has a beautiful Bakelite handle which replicates stag horn. The collar between the steel and handle is a very detailed sterling piece (marked Sterling). Excellent choice for your vintage kitchen!

We have only cleaned this piece lightly so as to not remove the excellent patina.

Measures 13-1/4" long overall. Handle measures 5" (including collar) and the steel measures 8-1/4". Approximately 7/8" diameter handle.
