This very old cast iron spouted ladle was likely used for the melting and pouring of lead. Unmarked with a raised fire ring on the bottom and a "bump" in the handle just past where the ladle forms. The underside of the handle shows it was made with a triangular projection for sturdiness.
Measures 8-1/4" (including the handle) x 4-5/8" diameter (at the top including the spout) with a 2-5/8" diameter bottom. No markings seen.
Patina shows (mainly) surface rust which can be removed (should you choose to do so) by heating and oiling.
