Unusual vintage artwork featuring a boy firefly or bee at nighttime. He looks a little mischievous and is set against a darkened sky with stars, trees and a house in the background. Original signature in pencil is Cleo Thornburg. 

Measurements: Overall the board size is 10" x 15" although the artwork itself is approximately 7" x 7". No date is shown on the piece nor given to us by the seller. It shows vintage aging although the colors are true. 

Of note - The entire front of the board is covered in a thin plastic which is taped to the back of the board. The pinkish "tint" in some of the photos is a reflection of that plastic against the surroundings. The board is a off white and NOT pink. The photos showing the board as bright white were enhanced to show the detail with the pinkness removed.

This would be an excellent piece trimmed down to fit a frame in a boys bedroom or for the collector of cartoon pieces or original artwork.
