Intricate thin silver plated (over copper) wire was carefully woven into a round basket shape with a separate removable lid. This miniature basket is just the size to hold your rings when you retire for the evening or while you bathe. 

Measures 2" tall x 1-3/4" diameter (lid) with a 1-1/2" diameter base. Very good vintage condition with a lovely patina.
