Advertised as "The Modern Portable Hanger" we imagine this was used by travelers wishing to keep their clothing sorted and neat. The metal bar slips over your closet rod with the clothing draped over the individual wood sections. If you view the second photo - the label shows a drawing of the item in use.
The inventor is William Glines and the patent was issued in June 1942. Manufactured and distributed by Glines Co. Berkeley California.
Measures 13" x 5-1/2" x 3-1/2". Composition is wood and metal.
