Fantastic 1940's cardboard box featuring a boxer in period attire. This box would have contained a Whitely #201 No Jump striking bag swivel set. Striking bags, better known as punching bags or speed bags, were hung from the ceiling or supported beam an enabled boxers to practice their craft and ideally speed up and obtain strength to their punches.
Box measures 3-3/8" square x 1-3/4" tall. This purchase is for the empty box only. Marked Whitely Hackensack, NJ #201 No Jump. Very vintage blank price tag from G.E.M. is on the lower right corner of the top.
Perfect man cave display!
Any other items shown in the background or as a prop are not included in your purchase. You are purchasing only the item described above.
